On the 16th our September Be Enriched sessional worker, Ben, went to Foodival, Tooting London representing WFP and the CooksForce project. Be Enriched currently facilitates the Wandsworth Food Partnership.
“I got there for 11am armed with hundreds of tote bags and flyers. It went really well and got loads of people interested in the cooksforce project and volunteering at one of the canteens. It was a wonderful day with so many people passing through the event and a wide variety of foods from all corners of the world on offer. I ran out of tote bags by the end of the event, they are very popular!’
Wandsworth Food Partnership supports and champions best practice within the borough and is a member of the Sustainable cities network. Foodival is an annual celebration of Food and diversity in Tooting culminating in a street festival.
